Have you tried adding highlights to your works? I feel it would help giving a sense of volumes and perspective.

I'm trying to keep it simple, to allow me to develop faster & get more chapters finished quicker. But yeah you might have noticed the artwork quality improving from chapter 1 already, so at some point maybe there'll be a 3rd color added.
